The National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, PA is home to the world's best Civil War collection, featuring thousands of artifacts, letters, documents and books from and about the Civil War. Their collection preserves history in a humanistic manner, without bias to Union or Confederate causes. Along with their 4,400 artifacts and 21,000 archival pieces, they have rotating exhibits focusing on a variety of topics such as Civil War artwork, women and children's roles in the war, flags of the war, slavery, and prisoners of war. They are fully ADA compliant with elevator service for all public areas. Group and school tours are welcomed with pre-arranged catering services available.
