In 1961, a public golf course designed by Roy Albert Anderson was built on 52 acres in beautiful Venice, Florida. In 1983, a private group of dedicated golfers dreamed one day of owning their own golf course. They purchased the course and formed the Venice East Golf Association (VEGA). Venice East Golf Course (VEGC) is a semi-private, 18-hole, member-owned, executive course.
