La Costita Barbur is the brainchild of husband and wife team Jaime Saltero Sanchez and Francisca Garzon, started in 1992 to show Portland what modern Mexican cooking could really taste like. Today, the restaurant continues to enjoy popularity and features a variety of apps, salads, entrees and more. Outdoor patio seating is available, along with perks including weekday lunch specials from 11a.m.-3 p.m. and a full bar featuring a variety of margaritas, sangria, wines and more, plus Happy Hour daily from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. and 9 p.m.-close. Catering perfect for home celebrations, office gatherings or special events is also available.
